Today Landon turned 6! I can’t believe how fast time flies. It really makes me sad that he’s not longer a baby. He tells me all the time “I’m not a baby anymore, I’m a big boy now.”
Our first week of being in mostly quarantine, except for going to the grocery store (only I would go) or picking up food via drive through was quite a week. I didn’t do anything crazy for the kids as far as learning went. I was also working (from home), so I spent the afternoons after my work day was over to be with them and tried to entertain them as much as possible.
It’s a crazy time right now, but we are trying to make the best of it.
Every year we check out the South Florida Fair. The boys love the rides and we get them the unlimited ride wristband while Glen and I end up eating fair food like roasted corn, tacos, funnel cake and ice cream.
Went out on the boat with the boys and Brutus for a few hours this morning. It ended up raining and we didn’t want to risk being downpoured on so we left early.
It’s 66 degrees in South Florida today but the wind makes it feel colder. Stopped at Starbucks and took this family selfie while sipping our drinks while the kids were eating their snacks outside.
