It’s been a stressful week leading up to our home closing. But now, we are officially homeowners! I never thought that this day would come but it did and it was quite emotional!
Today Landon turned 6! I can’t believe how fast time flies. It really makes me sad that he’s not longer a baby. He tells me all the time “I’m not a baby anymore, I’m a big boy now.”
Nine years ago, I gave birth to my first son. I still remember the night we knew it was time and headed to the hospital. I never had been so scared in my life. He made me a mom, and it’s been quite the adventure.
Our first week of being in mostly quarantine, except for going to the grocery store (only I would go) or picking up food via drive through was quite a week. I didn’t do anything crazy for the kids as far as learning went. I was also working (from home), so I spent the afternoons after my work day was over to be with them and tried to entertain them as much as possible.
It’s a crazy time right now, but we are trying to make the best of it.
Each year since we learned that Landon had autism we’ve been participating in the Autism Speaks Walk in West Palm Beach FL.
Time is a crazy thing. As you get older it just seems like time goes insanely fast. I still can’t believe it’s already been 10 years.
Every week we’ve been driving to the area where our home is going to be in a few months to check the progress. We always pass by properties with large fields with cows and horses. We’ve been wanting to take my animal loving little one Landon to see some animals up close and had heard about this petting zoo where you could feed goats, sheep and cows so we went to check it out since the weather was beautiful!
Every year we check out the South Florida Fair. The boys love the rides and we get them the unlimited ride wristband while Glen and I end up eating fair food like roasted corn, tacos, funnel cake and ice cream.
