Enrique finished 5th grade on Thursday, and he’s off to 6th grade – middle school in August! I feel like it was just yesterday that we sent him to kindergarten and I remember crying because he was already at that point in his life. I did tear up a little at his 5th grade moving on ceremony and realizing my little boy is growing up!
Being off work for the end of the year we decided to get out of town for the day and road tripped up north of us.
Our Christmas was simple this year. With COVID being on the rise, we ended up laying low this year.
It’s that time of the year where cookies are always around. I wanted to make holiday cookies and gingerbread cookies are one of those types of holiday cookies to make.
We’ve been checking out the 100 ft Christmas tree in Delray since the kids were really little.
Every year we take family photos. I think it’s a nice tradition, which gives us an updated photo of us as a family and a way to look back on how much the kids have grown.
I love this time of year because it kickstarts fall and the rest of the next few month of holidays.
Halloween is fun when you’re around others who are into it.
